We were recently given the chance to create some bespoke macarons for Chambord. The task we were given was to not only make macarons flavoured with the iconic black raspberry liqueur, but also to make the macarons resemble the elegant Chambord bottle. Armed with a bakery full of ingredients, our head chef, Audrey, sought to make these bespoke macarons to perfection. After trying out various recipes, she created an irresistibly decadent black raspberry liqueur and dark chocolate ganache. This rich ganache was then delicately piped into deep raspberry coloured shells, topped with carefully applied gold leaf stripes. |
