We are proud to have been able to contribute to the array of fine food offered to the Summer Ball guests, by providing the Royal Academy with 2,000 macarons. To match the ball's beautiful and bold pink colour scheme, we created macarons in fuchsia, rose and pale pink. Each colour was a different flavour; the fuchsia macarons were filled with our classic raspberry and white chocolate ganache, the rose coloured macarons were filled with raspberry and rose butter cream and the pale pink macarons were filled with apple butter cream with a raspberry burst in the centre. Each flavour tasted fantastic on it's own or paired with the champagne and wines provided by Louis Roederer.
The Royal Academy of Arts held their annual Summer Ball on the 23rd of June, 2014. Within a venue filled with fabulous artwork, the stage was set for a glamorous fund raising event. Decked out in punchy fuchsias and towering pink floral displays the Royal Academy treated their benefactors and donors to a very stylish evening filled with food, dancing, entertainment, fine art and a silent auction. Living in London, it can feel like a really rare occurrence when we get a nice, warm, sunny day. But, when we do get a beautiful day, you can be sure to find us all plotted up in one of London's many parks, enjoying some good food and a cheeky drink in the sunshine and attempting to get a bit of a tan. Even the cast of Made in Chelsea enjoys the simple pleasure of spending a day out in the British sunshine. As with everything they do, their picnics in the park are put together with style, class and a bit of extravagance. And, what could be more extravagant than a tower of delicious, premium macarons for a day out in the park? In series 7 episode 8 of Made in Chelsea, the whole MiC cast enjoys a lovely picnic in the Hertfordshire sunshine. The pièce de résistance of this posh picnic (which also included fresh Lobster and Oysters) was one of our Contemporary Macaron Towers filled with Lemon, Vanilla and Salted Caramel macarons...three of our delicious best-selling flavours. Our beautiful macarons were paired with some bubbly and lovely liqueurs to create a truly indulgent day in the sunshine.
You can watch the episode of Made in Chelsea on the 4OD website here. If you would like to order a Contemporary Macaron Tower for your own posh picnic, party or event, please get in touch with us using our contact form. On behalf of the entire Ganache Macaron Team, I would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter. We are hoping for a great Easter holiday filled with sunshine, smiles, family, friends and gorgeous food. Why not add some macarons to your Easter feast this year? There is still time to order our Spring and Easter macarons in a gift box of twenty-five macarons. Our Easter macaron gift box is available to purchase on our shop page. We can also supply our Spring flavours as loose macarons or in macaron towers. We love Spring and Easter. The pretty pastel colours, fresh fruit coming into season and finding cute little bunnies everywhere, makes this one of our favourite times of the year.
