April's issue of Woman & Home Magazine is all about treating yourself, and indulging in some of the things that really make you happy. Many of us spend so much time doing things for our jobs or our families, that it can be easy to neglect yourself in the process.
The issue stresses that treating yourself is not about being selfish, but about rewarding yourself from time to time with something indulgent or extravagant that really makes you happy. Areas of indulgence detailed in this issue of Woman & Home are; fashion, home, beauty, health, travel and our favourite: FOOD.
Our own macaron baking classes and macaron tower masterclasses are featured on page 152 of the magazine in a feature discussing different UK-based cookery courses. Cookery courses are a great way to indulge, as they teach you a skill that you can use for years and years to come. Plus, the skills learned in cookery courses allow you to indulge in your own home made treats.
Wedding Palette Inspiration from LFW
For many brides and grooms to be, chosing a colour scheme or theme is one of the first steps in planning the perfect wedding. Having a colour scheme in mind helps brides and grooms begin to envision the details of their wedding. It also gives them more of a focus as to what they need to source for their wedding day; whether that's decor, desserts or bridal accessories.
Colour Palettes for Autumn & Winter 2014 Weddings-
From the first three days of London Fashion Week, we are starting to see a trend of pairing bright oranges and yellows with monochrome, greys and neutral shades, to create a great POP of colour. People generally tend to go for darker shades and more neutral tones for events during the colder months. But, LFW shows us that it's OKAY to go bright and bold, even in the Autumn and Winter months.
Here are some colour palette examples from the Topshop Unique and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi catwalks.
