Here at Ganache Macaron, we are fascinated by the quirky ways by which collective groups of animals are called in the English language. For example:
A murder of crows.
A mischief of mice.
A flamboyance of flamingoes.
A drove of sheep.
We thought it might be fun to come up with a noun for a collective group of Macarons! For example: A mischief of macarons.
Let’s get our creative juices flowing and put our heads together to come up with the best, funniest and most clever names for a group of Macarons!
The Grand Prize
The person who comes up with our favourite name for a group of macarons wins a voucher for two places in one of our macaron baking classes, valid for one year.
The class will teach the winner and their chosen guest to whip egg whites, fold their macaron mix with the dreaded "macaronnage" process, and bake classic French macarons to perfection. At the end of the class, each student will leave with a box of their own handmade macarons!
